Chinney was very delighted to be awarded a contract from a charity group (i.e. Yan Chai Hospital) for a fitting out works which are located at G/F (portion), 2/F (portion), 3/F and 4/F of Social Service Building, Fu Tip Estate, Tai Po (“The Works”).

The Works are for Yan Chai Hospital Residential Care Home for the Elderly (also known as Yan Chai Hospital Tai Po Fu Tip Elderly Home) which is funded by Social Welfare Department.

The Works were designed by Studio Raymond Chau Architecture Limited (“The Architect”) who has maximized the ultilities in various areas including 18 dormitories with attached toilets/showers, assisted bath/shower trolley rooms, palliative care room, reception area, general offices, kitchen, laundry, nurse station, common area, isolations rooms, physiotherapy/occupational rooms, activity room etc. The Works are from 2/F to 4/F as well as G/F, all for 100 places for the needy elderly (with total Net Floor Area over 1,000m2). Chinney also performed exactly what required in The Architect’s design within time frame and upto their satified quality.

The Works also comprises MEP installation, dumbwaiter installation, ceiling hoist system, built-in furniture works, operable partition system of which some works were involved with statutory submissions to Government departments.
